Now it is warmer and for the record, the ice is getting thinner. At the creek mouth one can see water flowing. So stay off the ice.

Happy New Year

Hope everyone has survived the ice storm of December without too much hardship. Here on the shores of Southern Georgian Bay the ice rain was not too heavy and minimal power outages occured. Wishing you and all your family the best for the New Year.     Riverdale Estates, Victoria Harbour Georgian Bay.

Riverdale Waterfront - Hogg Bay which is the smalll bay in front of Riverdale Estates is frozen over. Soon there will be cross country skiing, snow shoeing  and ice fishing here on the bay.  Lots of winter activities for all ages. Come out and enjoy the winter with us. We'll have hot chocolate at the shore fire if you call ahead.

Application of texture to drywalled ceilings can be done in many different ways. One way is demonstrated by Todd and Brian. They would be happy to apply the same texture to your future home at Riverdale Estates. Will be starting another home here soon.  Come by and have a look around.

I recently had a professional in to do some drywalling. He demonstrated how to apply a final coat of drywall mud to the ceiling inside corners. Sure made it look easy. He is using a syringe which pushes drywall mud out the head apparatus into the corner in a controlled manner to keep sanding to a minimum. Have a look.
